20:30 – 21:30 last night, it was earth hour. We, my flatmates and me prepared food, wine and lots of candles.

actually we started preparing bit early, so we turn lights off and started dinner around 19:30… we felt bad to turn lights on before 21:30, so had 2 hours dark, hot long dinner.

Other houses, rooms around my place, seems like nobody join this lovely event. Just only one hour in a year…. it was fun.

We turned off lights, AC and fans, left fridge on though… even only our apartment, but still felt quieter than usual. I know how quiet bangkok is when the power is cut off. If everybody around here joined it, it could be very lovely quiet night.

One of my flatmate, who i stay  with for 5 years, and me sitting on the table on the balcony and talked a lot with wine. She said that she can feel we’ll find each other in some other countries, like somewhere in africa or like that, someday in the future… I do feel the same.

One thing my mother always taught me is “Keep saying if you really want it happen, but do not say anything negative even if you tought of it”…. actually she told me that things she really wanted, she got all in her life because she kept saying what she wanted, how she wanted to  be, maybe she is too optimistic, but i love what she is like and I’m kind of the same… some people says I’m too optimistic, never thought of the worst situation… actually i think of it, but I just don’t want to say it in words.

We’ll go around the world and find each other somewhere in the world.

It was great lovely night to have great time with friends.

But…. toooooooo much food to move, am kind of feel sick because of it….

  • Why Ning Is Going To Bangkok Tonight In Her Red Shirt - Thailand Forum

She says “life in this country has dealt me a red shirt” – finally we have a movement I can identify with – this has nothing to do with Thaksin – he has only opened our eyes – and for that some of us are grateful to him. We know he is as corrupt as they all are but at least he threw us a few pieces of the cake – the other people in power take it all.
