On the doctor’s certificate, it says my diagnosis is “hypersomnia”.

Last one week I lived with a little machine called “somno watch” which monitors when I sleep and awake. Today we saw the record, which is this.

The doctor said “You don’t sleep at all!”, and write down “hyprsomnia, but poor sleep”.

This record tells that I keep falling into sleep and awake as soon as I fall in sleep, sleep and awake over and over…. that could be the reason I feel so sleepy all the time.

Maybe this is the reason I dream a lot.

I was kind of surprised because i thought I sleep well at night. The test I had been taking is the simple/cheap way, the way to track my sleep/awake is how much I move.I keep moving during the night, fall in sleep during daytime.

Normal people should be like this.

Some of my friends told me that when I sleep I’m just like a dead body, but it was just a part of my sleep. Basically I keep moving, the record tells.

What do I do while I sleep? Am I sleep walker? maybe sleep eater or drinker.

I asked the doctor to let me try one more week, because last week I did drink almost everyday. Alcohol makes you awake. Also this week I’ll kick my cats out of my bedroom, sometimes Chikuwa bring some gift to me at midnight.

The doctor and me also want to do the proper test to figure out why I sleep like this, but I can’t afford 30k and even if we figured out why, treatment is the same, medication. Modafinil is not approved in Thailand yet.

Well… will try to get better sleep….

She says “life in this country has dealt me a red shirt” – finally we have a movement I can identify with – this has nothing to do with Thaksin – he has only opened our eyes – and for that some of us are grateful to him. We know he is as corrupt as they all are but at least he threw us a few pieces of the cake – the other people in power take it all.
