Downgrade 3.0 to 2.x – to survive the few days untill ultrasn0w coming out

I knew it’d be happened. Sometimes my brain loose control when it gets excited to do something new. What I have done is – upgraded firmware to 3.0 on my toy.

I knew it would be locked, but I read some people in Thailand were upgrading, so maybe… maybe fine, then couldn’t stop myself clicking it. I should have read Dev-team blog more carefully before I click it

Then I searched if there were any way to help my toy. However, once it’s upgraded to 3.0, the only thing I can do is waiting for ultrasn0w coming out.

Here is another option, Downgrade to 2.x. BUT this requires iTune 7.x or lower, my iTune is 8… :( so still I’m disconnected, and I haven’t tried this yet.

However, if anybody has done the same mistake and have iTune7, worth trying (or wait few more days).

1. Download firmware via this page
2. Connect your iPhone to computer with usb
3. turn your iPhone off
4. hold home + power together 10 seconds – DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade) mode
5. release power button, keep holding home button until computer load the device
6. “Shift + restore” or “Option + restore” to select firmware you want to restore
7. Then it would work (I tried but couldn’t because of the iTune version)

The only thing I can do now is waiting for ultrasn0w coming out, which is “someday” soon… I really miss my toy, Today at Fotune, I was almost buying another toy with Andoroid just for few days…

I can’t do anything for few days anyway – decided to enjoy offline life bit more, spent time with friends, write post cards to my mom and friends… not bad :)
