  • We should call it #BarcampASEAN – #BarcampBKK3

It was a great weekend. Before and after #BarcampBKK3, I’ve been super busy, staying office till morning (actually I just finished work now…., this might be the first break after #barcampBKK3) almost everyday, didn’t have time to prepare my slides or things for the session. However, it was great fun.

At the #BarcampBKK3, I enjoyed Lightning talk. Anybody can speak anything in 5 min.
When @preetamrai talked about Japanese Furoshiki wrapping things, it reminded me my old school days. I used to make lunch and wrapped the lunch box with little Furoshiki to bring to school. It was about…. 15 years ago.
This is one of the [...]

  • Differences between #BarcampBangkok and #BarcampKL

It was great fun to join #BarcampKL held on 4th and 5th of April, 2009. I saw some differences between #BarcampKL and #BarcampBangkok.
Basically, the differences I felt was the same thing as I felt at #BarcampJB (Joined #BarcampJB on 6-7/Dec/2008). Differences are interesting.
The way to schedule the topics
This is totally different from the way we [...]

  • BarcampBangkok3 : stay overnight or not?

Here is the twitpoll @kengggg made, thanks @kengggg.
We are still on disscussion if we make #BarcampBangkok3 overnight event or not.
I voted for overnight but I really think it should be convenient for who can’t stay overnight or people who can join just for few hours.
For Barcamp addicts, like some of us, it doesn’t matter if [...]

She says “life in this country has dealt me a red shirt” – finally we have a movement I can identify with – this has nothing to do with Thaksin – he has only opened our eyes – and for that some of us are grateful to him. We know he is as corrupt as they all are but at least he threw us a few pieces of the cake – the other people in power take it all.
